Christina Hendricks

Christina Hendricks is an American actor who is most well-known for her performance as Joan Holloway in the seven seasons of the period drama on AMC Mad Men (2007-2015). The show brought her six Emmy nominations, including best supporting actor and critical praise. She has been known in her two-decade career for her performances in the legal comedy Kevin Hill, comedy series Another Period and crime drama Tin Star. Her performances are noted in films such as Drive Ginger & Rosa Lost River, The Neon Demon, The Strangers : Prey at Night Egg, and American Woman. Her voice was used in animated films such as Toy Story 4, Scoob! and From Up on Poppy Hill. The career she began with was modeling and she continued it for years until her debut as an actor on TV through Undressed which was a 1999 TV series. The actress had her first big character in the comedy-drama show Beggars and Choosers. After her appearance, she received praise for her role on Firefly. Esquire magazine chose her to be the Sexiest Woman on Earth and Best-Looking American Woman for 2010.
